About the event
Join us on Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th in Hastings, ON for two full days of learning, skill-building, and horsemanship with Level 2 EXCA Judge, David Cowley, travelling all the way from Alberta! Spaces are limited to just 16 horse and rider teams, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
Entries open Monday, February 16th, 2026 at 9:00am. Pre-entry is required, and riders must provide proof of liability insurance. A 50% deposit is required at registration to secure your spot (full payment must be received prior to the event). Rider registration is $250.00 (includes both days), and auditors are welcome at $75.00 per day.

Self-camping is welcome. You will see a spot on the entry form to click off if you plan to do so. Please let us know so we can keep track of numbers!
As we move closer to the event, a schedule will be posted and riders will be notified. Once the clinic is full, we will advise and a wait list will be made if you wish to be added.
This clinic is followed by a SANCTIONED 2X POINTED EXCA/OXC RACE on May 30th, 2026. There will also be an Ontario Ranch Horse Association (ORaHA) Show on Sunday, May, 31st, 2026. All 4 days are being held at the same location!
David Cowley is a Level 2 EXCA Judge, EXCA World Champion - an accomplished and respected horsemen in the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing. Competing since 2014 and judging since 2017, David brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, experience, and horsemanship to every clinic he teaches.
Whether you’re brand new to Extreme Cowboy, preparing for competition, or simply looking to elevate your riding, this clinic offers a opportunity to train with one of the very best in the industry.
